Communications Internship – Washington, D.C.

Brodeur Partners, a PR and communications firm, has an opening for a PAID Digital and Research Intern in its Washington DC office. The position is open immediately for the Fall semester and will continue through the mid-December time frame.

With a focus on digital media, our paid internship program offers undergraduate and graduate students the opportunity to learn public relations and communications first-hand. Interns work with our highly-skilled digital group and gain skills from the best in the business. Interns help with: traditional and social media, client and competitor research, and other public relations and communications activities. Brodeur works with interns to determine if the program can be used for school credit.

If you are interested in learning about communications, public relations and digital and social media, and are available for up to 28 hours/week during the fall semester, we want to hear from you! Candidates must be in their junior or senior year at a college or university majoring in communications, public relations, journalism or a related major. Or, recent graduates who have received a Bachelor’s degree in communications or related field. Candidates also must:

 

  • Be proficient on the Microsoft Office suite of software;
  • Have an understanding of social media including Twitter, Facebook, etc.;
  • Be able to organize multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities;
  • Have excellent verbal and written communication skills; and
  • Be able to work independently as well as with other members of a team.
